and my passion. This is a great quest for me and I invite you to my carving
studio gallery in Downtown Rutland Vermont. But for those of you
who are not here please visit the photo gallery below to view more of my work. My carving pictures represent, to me, the struggle of an old fashion way of life,
versus. the new social order. The rise and fall of a Nobel self - sufficient farming culture,
the true Nobels of the land, despite popular political view.
The old family traditions versus the new social way. An out of control aristocracy versus,
the decline and fall of the Native Vermonter even though in our hearts we are winning. A
quest streight from the sole."
----- "The challenge with all of this is to turn this siteless struggle into a form
of communication. So when the light is right, gaze to and through the carving and try
to find the riddle that lies within. Try to touch and feel the sole of the carving.
When I displayed my work in the first
local craft show at Pico a friend brought their sightless child to feel my carvings.
She felt, she saw and enjoyed. What a great day".
